To Change your display settings :

right-click on the DESKTOP

left-click PROPERTIES (if you have Windows VISTA left-click PERSONALIZE)

left-click SETTINGS Tab

change the screen resolution to 1180 x 768 or higher

left-click apply

left-click YES

left-click OK
